Q2 Systems Accepted into Xbox Game Camp Africa 2026
We’re pleased to share that Q2 Systems has been accepted into Xbox Game Camp Africa, joining a growing community of studios shaping the future of interactive media on the continent.
Since its launch in 2023, Xbox Game Camp Africa has become a key platform for emerging African creators.
Each year has expanded the ecosystem:
- 2023 introduced the inaugural cohort and laid the foundation for accessible, high-quality game development training across the continent.
- 2024 broadened participation and deepened the program’s focus on storytelling, worldbuilding, and production.
- 2025 strengthened community connections, bringing more African studios into conversation with global mentors and industry leaders.
2026 marks the next chapter — and Q2 Systems is honored to be part of it.
The six-week program, running from January 20 to March 6, 2026, focuses on game design, production, non-linear storytelling, prototyping, business development, and marketing. Each team receives guidance from Xbox mentors and participates in weekly online sessions.
For Q2 Systems, this opportunity aligns closely with the world we are building through Kwathu Smart Innovation Farms (KSIF) — an African futurist universe rooted in alternate history, immersive simulation, and a vision of Africa that innovates on its own terms. The camp offers the perfect environment to refine our prototype, strengthen our creative direction, and connect with a wider network of developers shaping African gaming.
We’re excited to contribute to this legacy and to continue pushing forward our mission of designing African futures that feel possible, grounded, and ours.
More updates soon.
